Is it true? John Denver asks any Witnesses to leave his concert!

version 2. on the johnny carson show he said the same before singing a patriotic song.
johnny carson told denver "see that cameraman there..and that lighting guy...there jehovahs witnesses, alot of witnesses work for me because their honest people..so now you can leave.".

According to the version I heard, a Witness who was an airplane mechanic at the Denver airport, had occasion to visit the john, along with a young companion he had met whilst at the Airport.
After some time, lo and behold, in walked one of Johnny Carson's bodyguards who had been drinking and was whistling a patriotic tune, accompanied by a cameraman and a lighting guy.
The witness, believing his activities with his youthful companion were about to be videotaped, pulled up his trousers and fled the scene.
Amazing how things get lost in translation.

It reminds me of when my Witness ex-Wife's JW Girlfriend's Half-Sister's Uncle's third cousin's adopted Panamanian rice thresher's niece's grandson's half-brother's Aunt's ex-husband's new wife's friend tried preaching to me at the Store while my half-sister's dog's new owner interupted incessantly regarding what may or may not have occured previous to our divorce whilst diverting attention away from the fact that she may have abused her new pet by feeding it with less than the recommended serving of dog chow as prescribed by the American Veterinary Medical Assocation and leading veternarians in at least 6 other countries!
I could NOT believe the audacity!!!!

It is interesting to see that in Greece, people will not stand for a totalitarian police force.
You may have noticed that throughout these riots, there have to date been NO deaths in GREECE, other than the kid that got shot and touched off the rioting..
What's stopping people in other countrys protesting against the brutality of the thin blue line?
Riots in the US will come next year, as conditions deteriorate. Unlike Greece, however, US Citizens will be shot and killed.

Bingo. Or simply putting their fingers in their ears and their heads in the sand. They simply DO NOT WANT to see the reality of the situation. Now is the time to plan for the inevitable, not to ignore it.
We are slowly slipping into a society where the police have been allowed to get away with murder as in the case of the poor innocent Brazillian electrician murdered by british police who refuse to accept responsibility for their criminal act.
It is a growing problem, and it will get worse before it ever has a chance to get better.

You have my sympathy.
I, too, have been non-plussed by the consistency of most canned tuna these days.
It is more like canned tuna paste than canned tuna.
But, with the addition of a lot of celery and onion bits, as well as mayo and some old bay, it becomes palatable when served on a soft tortilla or pita with some american or muenster cheese.
Perhaps the Obama presidency can return us to the days of chunky canned tuna.

Current projections are that upwards of $20 Trillion will be required to repress the coming Greater Depression.
It's a no-win situation. That amount of cash injection will devalue the dollar tremendously.

The summary of your thoughts goes without saying.
There are many who feel as you do.
I have read many of the same documents, much of the same research, yet I have not lost faith in God, nor the Bible.
That is because I put faith in God, not men, and I realize that everything that we "learn" and think we "know" is nothing more than someone else's opinion.
I chose to develop my own opinion.
I did that by hitting the "reset" button after leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses.
That meant I read the Bible with no preconceptions, and had faith that God would reveal to me what it meant, sans other's opinions on the Bible.
After years of study as an individual, I met others who had done the same.
Guess what?
We all came to the same, or at least a compatible, conclusion.
That is what God's Holy Spirit will do for you or anyone else who calls on Him continuously.
And that is no small miracle.
